#1 Johnny Cash Tribute Show

This production is a tribute to the late great Johnny Cash & June Carter Cash’s musical legacy. Featuring Cash’s classic songs as well as his later works, the characters of Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash are portrayed by international performers Doug Allen and Wendy Newcomer in this multimedia theatrical show.

Johnny Cash & Doug Allen Nash

A country boy at heart, Nashville Recording Artist DOUG ALLEN NASH grew up on a farm in northwest Illinois near a picturesque town on the banks of the Mississippi River. He began performing in local talent shows at age five; and had formed his own band by age twelve. That same year his parents took him to a Johnny Cash Concert, one of several he would attend over the years. It was just the beginning of what would become one of Doug’s greatest passions.

At the age of twenty, Nash was performing all over the world and receiving recognition for his extensive USO, MWR, and Armed Forces Entertainment Tours (the U.S. Defense Department’s Certificate of Esteem Award, Certificate of Recognition Award, and the Republic of Korea’s Apple of Excellence Award). During a six-year period, he entertained American troops overseas, touring 87 countries. It was meant to be! A chance meeting at that time with the legendary Johnny Cash in a Copenhagen, Denmark Airport inspired Doug to create his ”#1 Johnny Cash Tribute Show.”

#1 Neil Diamond Tribute Show

The first half of this exciting multi-media theatrical production is “The #1 Tribute to Johnny Cash.” Hear the great “Man In Black” familiar classics including “Ring of Fire,” “Walk The Line,” “Get Rhythm,” “Sunday Morning Coming Down,” “Stripes Around My Shoulder,” and lots more. After intermission, audiences are on their feet during Doug’s dazzling tribute to Neil Diamond featuring his greatest hits, “Cracklin’ Rose,” “Sweet Caroline,” “America,” “Forever in Blue Jeans,” “Play Me,” and many more. This spectacular evening also features The Nash A-List Big Band, great charts, lighting and a stunning video wall highlighting the lives of Cash, Diamond and Nash.
